The Young Adult Library is located on the 6/F of the Hong Kong Central Library. It is the first library in the Hong Kong Public Libraries system dedicated for teen readers between 12 and 17 years of age.
It provides over 80,000 volumes of Chinese and English books, as well as various periodicals, audiobooks, and electronic resources, along with project guides and thematic news clippings as reference materials for teens' coursework, meeting young readers' needs in academics, culture, popular topics and self-exploration. Discussion rooms are also available to teen readers and students for group discussion or research.

The CreateInfo Zone at the Young Adult Library regularly collaborates with educational institutions and organisations to hold exhibitions tailored for teenagers, featuring introductions to local higher education institutions and programmes, as well as showcases of scientific and creative learning outcomes. This initiative aims to stimulate young people's innovative thinking and promote the exchange of creative ideas.

The library also organises a wide variety of activities from time to time, including the popular science talks, talks on further studies, and Teens' Reading Clubs, to actively promote continuous reading and provide teen readers with up-to-date information across various fields.
